The Challenge

To introduce the breadth of stunning properties within the Fairmont Raffles Hotels International portfolio, its Global Sales Team put together an incredible five-day educational trip to Canada – the home of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts – for European travel professionals. We were asked to promote the journey to FRHI’s target market, and provide the mechanism by which delegates could find out more and register.

Our Solution

We proposed a digital solution that comprised three easy-to-use steps. First, guests were enticed by a personalised HTML email campaign that invited them to discover more about the exclusive educational trip. Then, a beautiful interactive itinerary celebrated the magnificent cultural and physical diversity of Canada – delegates would enjoy everything from bear watching in Montebello to sights and sounds of the Montreal Jazz Festival. Finally, we developed the look and feel (personality) of a micro-site that inspired travel professional could learn more about FRHI properties and register for the trip.

The trip was a fantastic success, and all places were filled very quickly. A new generation of travel professionals is now aware of the FRHI brand.
