The Challenge

Widely acknowledged as the sporting and social highlight of the summer, Glorious Goodwood is a quintessentially English event synonymous with style and elegance. As a headline sponsor, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts had a box at the meeting to entertain clients and contacts both old and new, but how best to entice them to attend? And, how best to expose the brand to other racegoers?

Our Solution

With just days to go before the start of the race meeting, Fellows Media devised a chic, minimalist email campaign that managed to capture all the thrills and qualities of this timeless event.
To engage other racegoers too, we developed an advertising campaign for the race programme that comprised five sophisticated adverts. Three of these featured Fairmont’s historic ‘Trilogy’ hotels – The Savoy, London; Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai and The Plaza, New York. The remaining two promoted Fairmont’s President’s Club and its MEA properties.
